Jester is the largest student dorm in the country, and is rumored to have been designed by a famous architect that designed several prisons.
|10:30AM-1:00PM||Prospective Freshman Tour|
Tour the campus and talk to an admissions counselor. Don't miss this!
Check out on-campus cafeterias like J2 or Jester City Limits (both in Jester), or get some Chick-Fil-A at the Union. For off-campus options, we recommend Torchy's Tacos or Pita Pit!
|2:00PM-3:00PM||College of Liberal Arts Info Session|
|3:15PM-3:45PM||Visit Quarters Apartments|
The Quarters have 6 apartment buildings that are in West Campus (the area of town where 30,000 UT students live). Freshmen can live here (only about 65 percent of freshmen live on campus), so it is worthwhile to take a look at student apartments!
|4:00PM-4:30PM||San Jacinto Dorm Tour|
San Jac is known as one of the best on-campus dorms at UT. Definitely check it out!
|4:45PM-7:00PM||Buy all things burnt orange|
You'll need to go home with tons of things burnt oranged. We challenge you to wear as much burnt orange as you can - send us a picture at Kristen@FreshmanSupport.com or tweet @UTFreshman :)
We recommend Trudy's or Plucker's for a real UT meal!
